- Primary fish will be the longest measured Bass caught during 2020 season. Bass includes largemouth and smallmouth. White bass do not count.
- Bonus fish will be the longest measured Crappie caught during the 2020 season.
- There is no word of the year.
- Fish must be caught during the current calendar year.
- Fish must be caught during the legal fishing season for that species.
- Fish must be caught in Minnesota or Wisconsin.
- Fish must be caught in compliance with state laws.
- Fish must be caught with a hook and line in compliance with state angling regulations.
Photograph Rules.
- Fish must be measured and photographed on a ruler, tape measure or other non homemade measuring device where the measurement is clearly readable.
- The whole fish must be visible in the picture.
- The fish's mouth should be closed and tail should be pinched
- Any fish length dispute will be voted on by all participants and majority will decide.
- To submit a photo you must use the Fish Donkey app.
